About

Vocasia is an education marketplace platform built by the Adipurna Inovasi Asia Foundation. This platform provides various trainings and courses for students and professionals. On this platform, instructors or mentors can open classes, and participants can register and attend these trainings. In addition, there are supporting features such as participant management, assessment, and certification.

Problem

Previously, sales and training were done manually. Mentors had to come to the students' location (or as agreed) to conduct face-to-face training. The transaction and certification processes had to be done manually. Learning history and materials were also no longer accessible.

Solution

Built a web-based education marketplace platform to provide a space for instructors or mentors to open classes, and for participants to register and attend these trainings. This platform is also equipped with supporting features such as participant management, assessment, and certification.

Stack

This application was built using CodeIgniter 4 and a MySQL database. The web application was built using Next.js, and the Android application using Flutter.
