About
The Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD) of Musi Rawas Regency has quite busy agendas in performing legislative, budgetary, and supervisory functions. However, council members, especially the leaders, cannot always be in the office to carry out these tasks. Furthermore, the public also finds it difficult to convey their aspirations directly to the council members.
Problem
The DPRD receives a considerable amount of incoming mail, especially addressed to the leaders. However, the leaders are not in the office every day, so incoming letters often have to wait for them to return to the office to be read and followed up. This causes delays in handling incoming mail (e-guests, incoming letters, and aspirations).
Solution
WhatsApp is a very common messaging application used by all members. The SMART DPRD application was built to send notifications of incoming letters, agendas, and other information directly to the DPRD leaders via WhatsApp and obtain follow-ups more quickly.
Stack
This application was built using Laravel, with Meta Business Suite integration to send notifications to WhatsApp.
